The Silver Starter Pack

This product is non-recurring and ships on the 15th.

If you are skeptical of subscriptions but want a box full of silver, the silver version of our Starter Pack series is right up your alley. The Silver Starter Pack is designed to mimic either our Big Bar Crate or Generic Silver Crate subscriptions, only in a one-time non-recurring format. This means you can expect to receive some combination of silver bars, silver rounds and maybe a few silver fractional pieces as well.

The total weight of silver will be dependent on the price tier you select in the drop down menu above.

Examples of Silver Bullion found in the starter pack

Here is a short list of what typically ships out with each silver starter pack. Keep in mind, variety occurs on a month to month basis, so if you want a little bit of everything we have to offer, we do recommend checking out the monthly subscription version of this product.

Silver Rounds

  • Silver Buffalo Rounds: Easily the most popular type of silver round on the market, the buffalo sports the iconic 1913 buffalo nickel design and is available in 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz and 1/10 oz sizes. The silver buffalo is a prime choice for investors and collectors alike because the premium is low as they are mass produced by a huge number of private mints. Most mints have a slightly different design aspect such as their own mint mark or security feature which makes each type unique in its on right.
  • Silver Rounds - Morgan Dollar: A common theme you'll find when buying non-government minted silver bullion is silver rounds that borrow designs from iconic U.S. currencies from the past. Another example of this would be 1 oz Silver Morgan Dollars produced by mints like the Golden State Mint. While designs may vary slightly depending on manufacturer, borrowing a design from a real monetarily backed currency is legal because no dollar value is stamped on to the coin. Instead, they are made of .999% pure silver and traded purely based on the value of the silver content by weight. Other silver rounds can be found that share designs from coins like the Seated Liberty, Standing Liberty, Walking Liberty and many more.
  • 1 oz Silver Asahi Round: Large refiners, who take raw ore and refine it to its pure form also mint rounds and bars for sale on the market place. These come with exceptionally low premiums because there is no middle man between the refining and minting process. Other examples of refiners who also mint their own bullion include but are not limited to, Engelhard, Johnson & Matthey, ABC, PAMP SA and Valcambi Suisse.
  • 1 oz Silver JBR Round: Silver bullion isn't only produced from raw ore pulled directly from the ground, companies like JBR Recovery LTD, Metalor, Umicore, CNT and others actually recycle used and discarded electronics to extract precious metals that they then refine and mint or cast into the final product. Another way to be environmentally sound and to drive down the overall markup to a more consumer friendly rate.

Silver Bars and the private mints who produce them

Silver bars are convenient when it comes to building each crate during our months fulfillment cycle. This is because silver bars come in a much wider variety of weights than silver rounds, making it easier for us to fulfill larger orders with a single, larger piece of silver rather than a roll of silver rounds. To give you an idea, silver bars can come in 1 gram size all the way to 1000 oz industrial size and virtually every size in between. The most popular silver bar sizes are 1 oz, 5 oz, 10 oz, 1 kilo and 100 oz.

A giant list of private, government and bank owned mints and manufacturers who produce silver bars exist, here is a shortened list of only some of the companies we partner with:

  • Sunshine Mint
  • Highland Mint
  • Scottsdale Mint
  • Umicore
  • Credit Suisse Bank
  • Perth Mint
  • Royal Canadian Mint
  • Germania Mint

Silver fractionals

We truly cherish your budget and being a small veteran-owned business, we can say that with confidence. With that said and based on how the math works out during our purchasing period, you may find small fractional (under 1 troy oz) silver rounds or bars in with your order. These are used in virtually every type of 'crate' or 'pack' product we offer and these help our traders get your order to the closest possible dollar amount that you elected to receive.

Why buy the Silver Starter Pack

It might not be obvious but we actually sell a massive volume of starter packs to both current subscribers and first-time customers. After a period in which we conducted a survey on our products and services, it was determined that pre-existing customers use the various Starter Pack products as a 'booster' pack to receive a bit more silver for the month should their budget allow it.

First-time customers that were surveyed overwhelmingly purchased the Starter Packs to gauge which type of crate and price tier they were going to commit to a subscription for. We do want to remind prospective clients that our subscription crates do not have any contractual agreement, hidden fees or cancelation hassle associated with them. You can cancel our services at any time for any reason. On top of this, we also have a satisfaction guarantee and a full return and refund policy should you not like any products you receive from us.

If you have any questions, let us know and we'd be happy to help.
